Yukkuri Letter is a small monthly delivery inspired by the seasonal landscapes, plants, animals, and everyday moments I discover in the satoyama of Japan.

One month, it might be a pheasant taking a quiet walk.

Another month, a snail appearing after the rain.

And sometimes, a little truck making its way along a narrow path between rice fields.

These are ordinary moments from life in the Japanese countryside, but they are the kind of moments I want to keep and share with you.

Unlike social media, where images quickly disappear as you scroll, Yukkuri Letter arrives in your mailbox, stays with you, and can be enjoyed again and again.

I hope it gives you a quiet moment to notice the season, slow down, and take a deep breath—even in the middle of a busy day.

A Little Adventure from the Satoyama

The special part of Nature & Snail Mail Club is that the experience doesn't have to end when you finish reading your letter.

Each month, you'll receive one simple idea for enjoying the outdoors—something you can actually try on a walk, in your garden, or wherever you find a little piece of nature.

It might encourage you to look for a particular flower, listen for a certain bird, observe insects, collect seasonal treasures, or simply slow down and notice something you might normally walk past.

You don't need any special equipment.

Just step outside and see what you can find.

Shipping

Yukkuri Letter is shipped once a month and delivered directly to your mailbox.

Orders placed by the 15th of each month will receive that month's edition.

Each edition is shipped in the latter half of the month, usually between the 21st and the end of the month.

Orders placed on or after the 16th will begin with the following month's edition.

For example:

• Order by July 15 → July edition, shipped in late July

• Order on or after July 16 → August edition, shipped in late August

Shipping is included in the monthly subscription price.

I gather inspiration from the satoyama throughout the season and prepare each Yukkuri Letter with care, one by one.

That's why your letter is shipped toward the end of each month.

I hope you'll enjoy slowing down, noticing the season, and looking forward to your little piece of the satoyama arriving in your mailbox.

Yukkuri Letter is primarily a way for me to send you art and little seasonal stories from the satoyama.

However, if you subscribe to Nature & Snail Mail Club, which includes a letter, you are also welcome to write back to me.

When I receive your reply, I'll do my best to respond to what you've written by adding a personal message to your next letter.

You don't have to write back, of course.

Your monthly letter will continue to arrive whether or not you send a reply.

But if you'd like to experience the joy of both sending and receiving letters, I'd love for you to become my pen pal.

Take your time, write a little something, and send your letter to the address provided by sasaguma.

• The contents change every month depending on the season.

• You can cancel your subscription at any time.
