Yukkuri Letter is a monthly postcard subscription from Japan, featuring original illustrations inspired by the seasons, landscapes, and animals of the Japanese satoyama.

Every month, a new postcard arrives in your mailbox, bringing with it a small glimpse of life in the Japanese countryside.

What's Included

Front — Original Illustration

Each month features a new original illustration inspired by the season.

You might find a forest animal, a seasonal flower, a quiet rural landscape, or a small moment from everyday life in the satoyama.

Back — A Seasonal Message

On the back of each postcard, you'll find a printed message sharing something I noticed, experienced, or felt while living close to nature in the satoyama.

It's a small message from the Japanese countryside, just for you.

A Little Piece of the Season to Keep

Display your postcard somewhere you love, tuck it into your journal, or simply leave it somewhere you can occasionally stop and look at it.

Free shipping — included in the monthly subscription price.

This is a recurring subscription. If you choose credit card or another recurring payment method, your payment will be automatically charged each month.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us through the inquiry form.

Please note that once payment has been completed and preparation for that month's postcard has begun, that month's order cannot be cancelled or refunded. Cancellation will take effect from the following shipment. Any edition that has already been paid for will still be shipped as scheduled.

Shipping

Yukkuri Letter is shipped once a month and delivered directly to your mailbox.

Orders placed by the 15th of each month will receive that month's edition.

Each edition is shipped in the latter half of the month, around the end of the month.

Orders placed on or after the 16th will begin with the following month's edition.

For example:

• Order by July 15 → July edition, shipped in late July

• Order on or after July 16 → August edition, shipped in late August

I gather inspiration from the satoyama throughout the season and prepare each postcard with care, one by one.

That's why your postcard is shipped toward the end of each month.

A Postcard That Travels from the Satoyama

There is something special about receiving a real postcard in the mail.

Your Yukkuri Letter postcard is not placed inside an envelope. It travels from the satoyama as an actual piece of mail, just like a postcard sent by a friend.

Because it makes a real journey through the postal system, you may notice small scratches, marks, or signs of its travels when it arrives.

We hope you'll see these little imperfections not as flaws, but as part of the postcard's journey from Japan to you—a small record of the adventure it took to reach your mailbox.

If your postcard arrives heavily damaged, dirty, wet, or smudged, please contact us. We will check the situation and send you a new postcard.
